Band Members	Mark ( Guitar & vocals Sponsored by 'Body Image' waxing specialists) The oldest member of the band and talented woodwork teacher come guitar hero ! Mark says , " My body image is important to me and I find a complete chest and back wax makes me so much more confident in my appearance when I'm up on stage . " Mark , who has been around the South Wales music scene since his youth, has a unique guitar style and is full of surprises ....usually those that entail playing notes in the correct order and the times when his much guarded wallet see the light of day ! Mark points out that , " Although I have the reputation for being careful with my pennies I don't begrudge a cent I spend on my body image . The smooth and silky sensation I have when I've been freshly waxed makes me feel like a million dollars ! Colin's quick wit and silvery tongue ( fine skills well honed from 25years of selling PX38 Chip Trays Up and down the country ) ensure that the audience are fully involved in every Handelsl gig . He will encourage audience members to come and sing or play with the band ( which is not always a good thing ! ) often to the horror of the rest of the band members ! ' It gives me a chance to go the the bar , ' he says ......... Colin 's mind is an 'encyclopedia' of lyrics ........ usually not those originally intended for the songs . Lance ( Guitar & keyboards ) The Love Handels very own 'Delboy' & 'Mr Fix It' If you want anything done ( apart from authoring your website ) Lance is your man ! Lance was the driving force behind The Love Handels coming together all those years ago . He'd just started learning to play guitar and could see his chance of rock'n'roll stardom receding along with his hairline ! What would we do without him ! If anyone really wants to wind him up ask him when he intends singing with the band :-) Rhys ( Drums & Van Driver ) Amazingly Rhys has been with the Handels since he was 14 years old ! These days he is a responsible member of the community in his own right with a proper job and mortgage too ! His cherubic features can be observed wealding the sticks at every Handels gig even when a nice subtle set of brushes would do nicely ! Kevin ( Bass & Vocals ) Kev is the 2nd youngest member of the band . His good looks and full head of hair stand out in the Handels stage line up . Cruelly taunted by his fellow musicians as being a bit like 'Blind Pugh' Rhys & Kev provide the driving rhythm section of the band . Calvin ( Soundman , Horticulturalist & Chicken Breeder ) The only working 'Roadie' in the rock world with a bad back ! Calvin ensures The Handels sound always fits the venue ( well usually ) He is well known locally for his charitable works on behalf of South Wales Swingers Groups .
